If you like the flavors of enchiladas like us, you'll love this dip. She really tastes like creamy cheese enchiladas as a delicious appetizer.
Enchiladas in the form of dip
Snacks, and especially DIPS, are the favorites here. What can I say? We like to party!
One of our favorite dishes is the classic recipe of a dinner: the green chili enchiladas. This enchilada dip has the same taste as this classic dish, but as an aperitif.
With sour cream, chicken, cheese, green peppers and more, this appetizer is hard to resist. Serve it at your next party with tortilla chips, crackers or veggies and you will not be disappointed.
Preparation of the enchilada
This dive is not simple and only takes a few minutes to launch together. Start by preheating the oven to 375.
MIXING. Whip together the cream cheese, sour cream, enchilada sauce (bought in store, we prefer Las Palmas, but we also have a homemade version), green peppers and all the spices in a large bowl.
FOLD. Add chicken and 3/4 cup cheese and stir.
ADD TO STAFF. Pour this mixture into a cast iron pan and bake for 30 minutes. Take out the oven, add the last piece of cheese and grill for a few minutes until it becomes frothy and slightly browned.
DIRECTIONS OF THE CROCK POT. You can also prepare it in the slow cooker by mixing all the ingredients and baking in the slow cooker at LOW for 2 hours. Once cooked, add to ovenproof dish, cover with cheese and grill for a few minutes.
Additions, substitutions and tips
You can replace half of the chicken with your favorite beans, such as black beans. You can also replace chicken with turkey ground beef.
Add products such as corn, olives, fried zucchini
Warm it with more jalapeños, chili flakes, hot sauce or cayenne pepper
What can I do if my dip seems too thick or thin? If your dip is not the right consistency, you can add a little milk or chicken broth to make it lighter. To thicken add more cheese or cream cheese. Once you have reached the right consistency, you can cook it and enjoy!
Preparation and storage of a dip
Can I prepare it in advance? You can prepare it in advance to cook it later. Keep it in the fridge or freezer.
Fridge: Mix the ingredients as directed, cover the bowl and store in the refrigerator until 24 hours. Put the ingredients in the pan and bake as directed.
Freezer: Mix ingredients and store in a freezer-proof container. Label and store in the freezer for up to 3 months. Thaw and cook in a skillet according to instructions. Know that because of cream cheese, the texture may be different after being frozen.
How to store the remains : Store the bath in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Warm in the microwave or oven until it is hot.
